Home Jersey and Takes Part in the Bianconeri Team’s Pre-season Retreat
at the Summer Village

The new Juventus Home jersey was officially unveiled to fans at the
Juventus Stadium in Turin. The Jeep® logo, representing the brand that
stands for adventure and will sponsor the Italian Championship Winning
Club for the upcoming 2012-2013 football season, stands out on the new
jersey. During the presentation, Juventus players reached the field on
board a fleet of Jeep Grand Cherokees, the brand’s flagship model.
Jeep and Juventus are two icons in the
history of their respective worlds. Both have in their DNA a history of
authenticity, passion and the ability to take on and overcome any
challenge.
The new jersey for the Italian
Championship Winning Club is inspired by the heritage of the Company.
The modern, revised design marks the return to classic black and white
vertical stripes, as opposed to the jagged lines which characterised the
jersey of the last two seasons. The inner neck graphic on the shirt is
the club motto: “Vincere Non È Importante È L’Unica Cosa che Conta”
(Winning Is Not Important It Is Everything), symbol sentence by
President Giampiero Boniperti, while the exterior of the shirt neck
simply features the embroidery ‘Juventus’.
Jersey Away
Jeep will be at the side of the
Bianconeri team beginning with the pre-season retreat, held from July
12th to July 23d at Chatillon-Saint Vincent in the Aosta Valley. For the
occasion, the exclusive 2012 Summer Village will be set up: a unique
location dedicated to Juventus supporters and Jeep brand’s enthusiasts.
Located near Castello Baron Gamba, the Summer Village will be the
meeting place for all Juventus fans: here, they will have the chance to
spend a full day in close contact with the Jeep world, leave for test
drives that enhance the off-road capabilities as well as the on-road
driving characteristics of the Jeep range and join in exciting beach
soccer tournaments.
Two stands inside the Summer Village
evoke the territories where Jeep models can best express their
personalities: the city and the outdoors of the most challenging and
demanding off-road tracks. The Jeep Urban stand at the Village is a
representation of the city and boasts a modern, hi-tech aluminium,
Plexiglas and wooden structure that will house the exhibition area and
two glass foosball tables where fans can compete in exciting team
matches.
The Jeep Beach stand is instead a
reproduction of a sandy beach with surfboards, and it is the place where
visitors can book their test drives and reach for the beach soccer
field.
The Jeep brand has built a real beach
soccer field on sand in the heart of the Aosta Valley: the field is
situated exactly in the area adjacent to the Summer Village and it will
be the place where guests will be able to participate in thrilling beach
soccer team tournaments.
The Summer Village will also be the
starting point for on- and off- road test drives on board the flagship
Jeep Grand Cherokee, the iconic Jeep Wrangler and the Urban compact SUV
Jeep Compass. In the area adjacent to the village, Jeep has created a
special off-road track that enhances the extraordinary off-road
capabilities of the Jeep line-up. The second part of the test drive will
cover the mountain routes in Chatillon and it will give the drivers the
opportunity to become acquainted with the on-road performances of the
Jeep models.
Everyone arriving at the Summer Village
on board a Jeep vehicle will gain – upon showing the car keys – direct
access to the beach soccer tournament and to the training sessions of
the Bianconeri team.
At the Summer Village, Jeep will also
showcase to the public the preview of the all-new S Limited trim line of
the flagship Grand Cherokee. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee S Limited will
be introduced in Italy and in the other European markets starting
September. Boasting black-gloss 20-inch alloy wheels, distinctive
styling cues and ‘Black’ exterior treatments, new S Limited combines
stand-out from the crowd exterior design and sporty appeal with the
efficiency of the new 3.0-litre V-6 turbo-diesel engine fitted with
Multijet II technology and delivering 241 horsepower and 550 Nm of
torque. In the cabin, sports-styled Nappa leather and suede seats
together with real carbon fiber accents highlight the distinctive DNA
that the S Limited shares with the Grand Cherokee SRT8 model, the most
powerful and high-speed Jeep vehicle ever produced, and recently
introduced in the International markets.
Beside the pre-season retreat in
Chatillon-Saint Vincent, Jeep will be at the side of Juventus also in
the competitions that will take place before the beginning of the
2012-2013 football season.
